We know the business side of running a practice can feel overwhelming. Most therapists didn’t choose this path to think about pricing models or product bundles. But today, those decisions are part of the job, and we want to make them easier, not harder.

Here’s what shaped our decision:

• Therapists are overwhelmed by too many tools. Many of you have told us you're juggling multiple subscriptions, each offering only a small piece of what you need. We don’t want to add to that stress.
• We know a low monthly cost or tiered pricing might make business sense but it doesn’t make therapist sense. Therapists use PlaySpace in personal and varied ways. That’s why it’s too early—and too limiting—to lock features into fixed packages. We’re focused on keeping everything accessible, giving you cost certainty, and ensuring you’re only paying for what you truly need.
• Manual discounts aren’t sustainable or equitable. We’ve offered one-off discounts before, but that model depends too much on who asks and when. Pay What You Can ensures fairness from the start and puts the power of choice in your hands.

We understand that not everyone may find these business considerations relevant or compelling. But we’re sharing them because transparency is part of our ethos. Most companies wouldn’t talk openly about these decisions. We’re not most companies. Transparency and integrity are the foundation of the trust we’ve built with therapists, and we intend to keep it that way.

Our mission has always been to support those who care for underserved communities by helping them build trust and stronger connections with their clients. As partners to health providers, we’re here to make it easier to offer care that is more engaging, accessible, and effective for those who need it most.
